Join bestselling cartoonist and super-experienced tutor James Parsons on Zoom for another awesome Pokemon manga art course! Each Tuesday, I’ll be guiding you through all the essential tricks required to draw these amazing characters – chosen by the children who attend! Not only will you learn how to draw your favourite pokemon, and create eyeball-popping works of art, the course will familiarise children with drawing animal forms (birds, lizards, predators, aquatic animals etc) and will boost their creative confidence, enabling them to design their own weird and wonderful creatures! We’ll be exploring a different type of pokemon each week – and the kids will choose whether we draw electric types, dark, fairy, bug, grass, ghost, psychic… ! We’ll be looking at different design approaches in every workshop too, from comic covers to trading card creation, action pictures to classical composition, as there are many amazing ways to present our awesome art! For those who have attended previous Pokemon art courses… these sessions will all be fresh and new!

Perfect for 7 years to teenage – grown-ups may wish to accompany younger kids.

Printable worksheets reinforcing the topics covered and providing super-fun drawing practice will be provided with Zoom Codes for each session. All you need is a pencil, paper, optional black outliner and colours, and plenty of imagination!

Each session will start at 930am and run for just over an hour on Tuesday 25th February – ***please note no workshop on 4th March due to World Book Day commitments!*** – 11th March – 18th March – 25th March – 1st April
